Blaser NZ Terms and Conditions
Conditions of sale of Firearms and components
Firearms sales in NZ are conducted in accordance with the Firearms Act 1983 and amendments.
Warranty conditions and exclusions
We provide sales and after sales service and product support in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. The Act provides for a very high standard of support and common sense guidance on issues.
The manufacturers warranty is used as a guide. In general, Blaser guarantees most firearm items for ten years from date of purchase. This does not include wood as it is a natural product and is subject to natural ageing. The product documentation with your rifle or shotgun product will have further detail on warranty conditions.
Wear and Tear is not covered by our warranty.
Blaser products purchased overseas are not covered by our warranty, but we will request support from Blaser on your behalf and we can organise any required freight for a fee.
Conditions of sale to foreign buyers
Visitors to New Zealand who hold the correct permit in accordance with the Arms Act are more than welcome to purchase from us. We will help with this process and help with export permit requirements.
We are authorised firearms, components and accessories exporters; we can organise sales and logistics to buyers located outside NZL.
Terms and Conditions applicable to Bespoke orders and Deposits
Making a bespoke firearm purchase is expensive so we have set the following boundaries to clarify the risks.
a. In event the Buyer cancels the order before delivery and fulfilment to the buyer, we will;
i. attempt to cancel the goods at the supplier; or
ii. attempt to reassign the goods to another buyer.
b. If either of the two criteria in clause (i)-(ii) are satisfied before the item is able to be cancelled at the supplier, then we will return the deposit to the Buyer minus the restocking fee of 10% of total purchase price.
c. If neither of the two criteria in clause (i)-(ii) are satisfied before the item is able to be cancelled at the supplier, the Buyer agrees that the deposit already paid will be forfeit from the Buyer to us. The Buyer agrees to have no interest in the goods and the goods will be sold to another Buyer.
